$RUM is the lifeblood of Captain's Helm — a fixed-supply token that powers staking, crafting, burns, and events across the ecosystem.

The lifeblood

$RUM is designed as one cohesive loop: it rewards long-term captains, keeps the market liquid, and fuels progression across the entire Helm. You earn it through staking and liquidity, then spend and burn it through blends, passes, and time-limited systems — so value is recycled instead of endlessly inflated.

Earning $RUM

The primary engine is bottle staking on StakeItOnWax. Bottles are in shackles when it comes to new supply — no more bottle chests are being minted. New bottles are now primarily sourced through Fatebound Cache (far rarer odds), so long-term holders become the backbone that keeps $RUM flowing.

Liquidity boost: 10,000 WAX + matching $RUM added directly to the liquidity pools (5,000 WAX on Alcor, 5,000 WAX on Taco). These long-duration farms reward LP shareholders heavily because deep liquidity keeps $RUM tradeable, stable, and usable throughout the entire ecosystem.

Sinks & utility

$RUM is meant to be used. Burns and sinks keep the loop healthy and make upgrades, events, and time-limited deals meaningful.

  • Burned in bottle blends, pirate blends, and ship blends.
  • Used in Treasure Hunt Pass crafting (Gilded includes 25 $RUM) and other seasonal systems.
  • Used in Black Market blends (time-limited sinks).
  • Moves through Twitch systems via Waves loyalty and redemptions.

Supply & longevity

Max supply is fixed at 10,000,000 RUM. Longevity comes from two anchors: scarce bottle acquisition (no more bottle chests) and deep liquidity incentives that keep markets healthy for the long haul.
